Myasthenia Gravis Clinic

Myasthenia Gravis can be acquired or congenital disorder of the neuromuscular junction. Acquired myasthenia is an antibody mediated autoimmune disorder with antibodies directed against the neuromuscular junction. In most cases, the antibody is directed towards the skeletal muscle acetylcholine receptor (AchR Antibody). In others, the antibody is muscle specific kinase (MUSK). Thymus gland has a role in modulating these antibodies.

From early detection to treatment the clinic offers all types of diagnostic and therapeutic services.  While diagnosis and accurate treatment are essential, rehabilitation for improving muscle movements and/or preventing them from deteriorating further is also offered at the hospital.
